Cookie Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This page explains what cookies and similar storage Lotus Bloom uses, and how you can control the optional ones. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Necessary (always on)

These are required for the service to function. Under UK PECR and GDPR, they don't require consent.

  • Authentication session, keeps you signed in (stored by our auth provider in your browser).
  • Security tokens, protect forms and API requests from abuse.
  • Consent record, remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again on every page.

2. Analytics (opt-in)

If you accept, we load Plausible , a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool. It does not set any cookies and does not track you across sites.

We collect only aggregate signals:

  • URL path visited (query strings stripped)
  • Referrer domain
  • Country (derived from IP; the IP itself is discarded)
  • Device type and browser
  • Named events for a handful of key actions (e.g. sign-up completed)

We never capture: health data, tracker logs, forum or message content, condition selections, names, emails, user IDs, avatars, or any free-text you enter into Lotus Bloom.

3. What we don't use

  • No advertising or marketing cookies
  • No cross-site tracking
  • No session replay
  • No third-party social sharing widgets

4. Managing your choice

Change your preferences any time from Account → Your data, or by clearing your browser storage to see the banner again.
